Thumbs Up!

Thumbs Up! to Girl Scout Kristy Giovannini, Troop 296, who adopted Meals On Wheels as part of her efforts to achieve the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest award for girls ages 14 to 18 and one that fills a need in the community. After shopping thrift shops and garage sales, along with asking friends, neighbors and family members for donations, Kristy utilized her troop to help assemble 105 tea cups, complete with tea bags with specially designed labels, chocolate kisses and an inspirational quote. The tea cups were distributed to Meals On Wheels recipients in time for Mother’s Day.
