VNS Premier Programs

If your patients have a specialized need, VNS has

advanced nursing care through our Premier Programs:

Cardiopulmonary (Heart and Lung) Care: We assess chest pain, heart and

lung sounds, respiratory difficulties, and wounds, provide standardized educational

programs like our “Healthy Heart Living,” and ensure daily interaction with a VNS nurse through our Telehealth Services Program.

Cancer Care: Through personalized homecare plans based on the stage and severity of your patient’s illness, we address uncontrolled symptoms like pain or nausea and work to meet the medical, psychosocial and spiritual needs of your patients.

Rehab Care: A comprehensive program offering the expertise of rehabilitation specialists. Our goal is to maximize independence and quality of life while providing essential support for the primary caregiver, using an interdisciplinary team approach that provides for a safe transition back to home. We have extensive experience and specialization for patients with neurological diagnoses too.

Long-Term Home Healthcare Program: This comprehensive care program is for adults with chronic illnesses that would otherwise be medically eligible for placement in a hospital or residential healthcare facility for an extended length of time. Our staff encourages and promotes independence and autonomy, helping people remain at home.

Hospice Care: Compassionate care and support to terminally ill patients and their families, including an assessment of health problems and a full array of symptom management. Social services, counseling, and routine household assistance are available.
